Riobamba, Ecuador — August 10, 2025
The Association of the Miraculous Medal (AMM) Ecuador held its XXI National Meeting from August 8 to 10, 2025, bringing together members from across the country for three days of spiritual reflection, formation, and community life experience.
An essential moment of the meeting was the election of the new National Board for the 2025–2028 term. The set of officers is as follows:
- President: Fanny Cecilia Benalcázar Moreno
- Vice-President: Diego Paúl Vaca Ludeña
- Secretary: Juan Homero Robalino Mena
- Treasurer: Delsa Edith Arellano Illescas
- Communications Coordinator: Rafael Emiliano Ferrín Holguín
- National Priest Advisor: Fr. José Pérez, C.M.
- National Sister Advisor: Sr. Inés María Arévalo Estrada, D.C.
The event also marked the conclusion of the outgoing National President’s service. This period of leadership was described as a time of grace and growth, enriched by the closeness of the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal and the spirit of fraternity within the Association. It was an honor to represent AMM Ecuador before the wider international community, with deep gratitude expressed for the trust and support received throughout the years.
The newly elected leadership assumes its mission with the challenge of continuing to strengthen the presence and service of AMM in Ecuador, inspired by the Holy Spirit and guided by the maternal care of the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal. With renewed hope, AMM Ecuador looks forward to the years ahead, committed to living its Marian spirituality in service of the Church and those most in need.
