The two-day meeting of the Association of the Miraculous Medal quickly passed, leaving all those who attended with lasting memories. From November 9 to 10, 2024, Omsk warmly welcomed Mary’s friends from Nizhny Tagil, Slavgorod, and Yekaterinburg. During the gathering, they shared stories about their parishes and parishioners and how the chapel of the Virgin Mary, which visits the homes of believers, brings peace and joy to their families. The chapel is embraced not only by Catholics but also by Orthodox Christians. The Virgin Mary unites people and families across different religions.
In today’s challenging times, many focus solely on achieving material success and solving problems with their own strength, often forgetting about Christ, His sacrifice, and the Mother of God. Such people can often feel weighed down by life’s burdens.
It is important to turn to the Mother of God with faith and hope and to wear the Miraculous Medal with confidence. Problems will not disappear magically, but those who turn to her will know that they are not alone in their struggles. The Miraculous Medal, given to us by the Virgin Mary through the French Sister Catherine Labouré, is not an amulet, but a sign of help and hope in the storms of everyday life.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
