Below is a letter from the Association of Chile, announcing their new president:
Very dear friend Father Tomaž Mavrič and AMM International Board of Directors:
I am very pleased to announce to you as International President of the Miraculous Medal Association that from 9 to 11 November 2018, we held our National Assembly. It was very emotional due to the presence of Father Carl Pieber, accompanied by Father Fernando Macias C.M. In this environment we had the election of the new National Board. Elected as President by majority vote was Mr. Lizardo Araya Lau, previous member of the Board of Directors with the position of treasurer. Throughout this period he has proven to be a man of great faith, a lover of the Association and a great propagator of the Medal, his apostolate being fruitful.
This note that I send you, is to confirm his position as National President AMM Chile.
In the next letter we will inform you about the development of the Assembly, the positions and members of the new Board, as well as a review of what happened in 2018.
